Join our charity quiz this week and help us raise funds for a great cause
Posted onOver the last few months, online games and quizzes have soared in popularity. Pub quizzes have moved from the snug to the internet, families and businesses have engaged in general knowledge battles, and even well-known celebrities from James May to Imelda Staunton hosted quiz nights during lockdown.
This week, Black Swan are joining the online quiz revolution with our charity quiz – and we’d love you to join in!
On Thursday 24 September at 3pm, we will be hosting a very special charity quiz to raise money for 52 Lives.
For a small donation per person, you’ll be able to play along using Zoom and the SpeedQuizzing app, and there will be a great range of prizes on offer, from a signed Crystal Palace football shirt to alcohol, golf balls, and even our special personalised ‘tea at 3’ mugs!
How to enter
To register your interest, all you have to do is email enquiries@blackswanfp.co.uk and let us know.
We’ll then send you all the details you need to enter, including the Zoom link for the quiz.
How to play
You’ll need two devices to play.
Firstly, you need to download Zoom to your laptop, PC, or tablet to join the quiz – and this is where you’ll see the questions.
You then install the SpeedQuizzing app on your tablet or phone and use this as your ‘buzzer’ – to input answers or choose the right multiple-choice response.

If you’d like to join in our charity quiz, we’re suggesting a donation of £10 per person prior to the event. You can donate here.
With the help of 100,000 people, 52 Lives is a charity that aims to spread kindness and change someone’s life every week.
52 times a year, the charity shares the story of someone in need of help. In return, supporters donate what they can and what the person needs, helping to change that person’s life.
52 Lives also run free Kindness Workshops in primary schools all over the country.
100% of all the money raised goes directly to the charity, and the quiz host is also donating their fee to a charity of their choice. And, thanks to the way the charity is run, 100% of your donations go to those ‘lives’ that they help. Please consider donating and supporting this fantastic cause.
