We successfully completed the walk on 29 August 2019 and surpassed our target of raising £500 for charity (£638 raised so far)!
We started at Putney Bridge at 12.30pm, all bright and breezy (see picture below), and walked for 25km, crossing 16 bridges (18 if you include crossing two bridges twice), and six and a half hours later we crossed our final bridge (Tower Bridge) to complete the walk. A special mention should go to Jodie, who suffered blisters on both feet just one hour into the walk but managed to soldier on to the end, mainly due to the promise of copious amounts of pink gins at our final destination, a local bar at Monument.
Donations continue to come in and we will be announcing shortly on our website which worthy cause we will be contributing to via the wonderful 52 Lives charity. You can add to our fundraising efforts here.
