Black Swan named as one of the UK’s best financial firms for the third year running

Our talented advisers achieved this accreditation thanks to all the brilliant feedback we receive from clients. Now, we’ve won another prestigious award based on the verdict of the Black Swan team – and we’ve also been named one of the best advice firms in London.
One of the Best Financial Advisers To Work For – again
The Professional Adviser Awards are now in their 19th year and seek to reward excellence within the financial advice community. A record number of firms entered this year’s awards, making them the most competitive ever.
We’re thrilled that, at this year’s event, Black Swan was named one of the UK’s Best Financial Advisers to Work For. This is the third year in a row Professional Adviser has recognised us in this category.
The award shines a spotlight on those financial planning firms that excel when it comes to culture, benefits, incentives, and employee satisfaction.
What makes this award particularly gratifying is that it is largely based on the views of the Black Swan team.
The first part of the assessment – worth around 25% of the result – consisted of an employer questionnaire, requiring us to provide detailed information about our workplace policies, practices, and demographics.
Then, the remaining 75% of the judging was based on an anonymous employee feedback survey, where our team was asked to provide honest opinions about working for Black Swan.
The questionnaire focused on eight key areas including leadership and planning, culture, and the work environment.
Once these assessments were concluded, the data was analysed, and we were benchmarked against other organisations to determine the winners.
Just 24 of roughly 5,000 financial advice firms in the UK received this commendation, proving that Black Swan is among the very “best of the best” when it comes to being a great place to work.
Black Swan is also one of the top 8 advice firms in London
In addition to Professional Adviser once again naming us one of the best UK firms to work for, Black Swan was also a finalist in the “Adviser Firm of the Year – London” category.
Alongside just seven other shortlisted firms, this nomination marks us out as one of the best adviser firms in the capital.
For context, Money Marketing estimates that around 3,000 adviser firms are operating in the Greater London area, meaning Black Swan is in the top 0.27%.
